Larmer in winter. It’s just like spring really – same amazing scenery and tough challenging trails, just on a frosty sunny day. What’s not to love?
White Star Running returns to the Wiltshire Downs for the Larmer Tree Races once again, but in a new season. Thank you to the Rushmore Estate for letting us run round their backyard and showcase the countryside they have on offer. Based at the beautiful Larmer Tree Gardens, one of Britain’s poshest race venues, we’ve got five epic trail races for you. They’re a bit hilly; it might be a bit moist underfoot with guaranteed mud…. or it might be beautiful weather! Who knows… it’s December right?
These trail races are great season finishers, so if you’re just finishing your year’s running journey we have our marathon, 20 milers and half marathon to complete your goals. Alternatively, if you just fancy a glimpse over the hills then 7- or 10-mile routes can show you what it’s all about!
2 distances at this event are Dog friendly, which allows you to run with your canine companion and experience the route together, as part of our dog-friendly races. Each runner can have up to two dogs and will be in wave starts of 30 runners, approximately 15 minutes ahead of the main race. If you’re new to Canicross running, check out this review for all you need to know.
