The seven-mile race is a new edition to the Spring Larmer race line-up, offering an exciting distance for those just starting out their racing season. The route takes in the valleys of the Rushmore Estate, with spectacular views across the countryside. This is a tough race, with some steep climbs, sharp descents and the most amazing views to reward yourself with. This race weekend always has the unexpected element of surprise – we’ve had sunshine, snow, sleet… which just adds to this very rewarding event. There are brilliant marshals along the route for you, with aid stations to help keep you fuelled up.
The race starts at 9.30am and race numbers will need to be collected on the morning of the race.
Canicross runners can also take part in this race, which allows you to run with your canine companion and experience the route together, as part of our dog-friendly races. Each runner can have up to 2 dogs and will be in wave starts of 30 runners, approximately 15 minutes ahead of the main race. If you’re new to Canicross running, check out this review for all you need to know. The dog-friendly race starts at 9.15am and can be entered here.
