The Unicorn Frolic race is on a 5.2-mile loop that takes on the trails around the private estate of the Frampton family. There are various terrains to navigate – some tracks, fields, sandy paths and woodland areas – so a nice mix underfoot, which is slightly technical in places. To get a flavour of the event, here’s a race report from 2019.
What is a Frolic?
Over a 12-hour period, you do as much running as you want. Complete at least one lap to get your medal and goody bag. Frolics are relaxed events with a fun atmosphere. You can run in teams of 4, 3, 2 or go solo. Solo runners can do as many laps as they want. If you’re in a team, only one of you runs at a time, then you swap over as and when you feel like it. Minimum age requirement for entry is 18 years old. For general race questions, see our FAQs.
