Following the Government’s announcement on 31st October for another national lockdown and our continuous efforts to be upfront and consistent with our event decisions, we’ve decided to postpone the Dark Moors event in January.
The current situation is that both the Dark Valley and the new Run DMC races have already been postponed to 2021, which we announced in September (https://whitestarrunning.co.uk/winter-night-races-off-for-2020/). We now feel it’s sensible to do the same with the Dark Moors races, scheduled for 23rd January 2021.
If you’ve already entered one of the Dark Moors races, you don’t need to do anything; your place will automatically be transferred to the same race in January 2022.
If, however, you’d like to use your entry to compete the race virtually to claim the current medal and give you a winter running goal, please email [email protected] to request this.
We don’t make these decisions lightly and are disappointed that we’ve not managed to keep running rural in 2020.
But we know we’ll be returning stronger in 2021. Thank you for your ongoing support.
