Palmers Brewery

Palmers Brewery was established on the banks of the River Brit in Bridport in 1794. They are best known for producing award-winning traditional cask conditioned real ales. These are joined by a deliciously hoppy session ale, called The Dorset Pale and a range of premium ciders made by their cider company Dorset Orchards. Join them on a guided tour of our historic brewhouse which run throughout the year and follow the process from the raw ingredients to a few halves of the final product.

Gritchie Brewing Co.

Gritchie brews its beers using its homegrown barley and water, drawn from its aquifer on the Wiltshire/Dorset border. Their love of beer and pub culture inspired the team to blend old world traditions with new world ingredients.

The brewery is based at Ashgrove Farm in rural Wiltshire, where the team  converted an old barn into a brewery using natural resources from the Estate to give people a taste of Britishness in the brews.

Cranborne Chase Cider

We have been working with the Meaden Family for 5 years to bring their scrumptious Cider to our runners. We’re lucky enough to run around the farm it’s pressed on for our Cider & Piggy Plod weekend event, and use their Cider as part of some race goodies.

Dorset Ginger

We are delighted to be working with a local Dorset producer to bring you a soft drink option at races. For those who don’t always want to have an alcoholic drink, you can reward your running efforts with some of Dorset Ginger‘s yummy produce. They produce award winning non alcoholic, non carbonated, hand blended ginger drinks and Sicilian lemonade.

Great British Biscotti

Made in a local factory, 10 miles away from our HQ, we had to introduce another local producer of fabulous food to our runners.

They make yummy savoury and sweet flavours of biscotti that are perfect for dunking, with vegan options too.

Lytchett Bay Soaps

Lytchett Bay Soaps is run by Liz Thompson, who started creating soaps after deciding that she needed to work on her health and wellbeing, and cut down on her environmental impact. After learning more about the amazing benefits of essential oils, she incorporated these into her creations.

All the soaps are made using a traditional cold process, using high-quality ingredients. The soaps are packaged in either recyclable, recycled or compostable ‘plastic’, made from starch. Many of the soaps are vegan.

The range has now expanded to include SLS free shampoo and conditioner bars, body butter and shower gels.
