Running Imp is a mail order company that supplies event organisers with everything they require to stage their event from all under one roof – a one-stop-shop.
They predominantly supply equipment to running events; from event signage, branding and competitor identification, to finisher’s medals, mementoes, trophies and awards. Over the last 10 years, they have extended their services to include charities, councils and many different sporting organisations.
Moores Biscuits is home of the Dorset Knob and the best biscuits in town! In fact, the whole of Dorset or anywhere really. Find these in some of our goody bags.
Local suppliers are important to us. We’re really pleased to have found a dynamic husband-and-wife team in Jack and Pippa Lightbown at Purbeck Brewery who run the Bankes Arms pub in Studland, a National Trust inn dating back to the early 1800s.
Jack and Pippa began brewing their first beer, Fossil Fuel, on land adjacent to the pub. The brewery now produces five core beers, which encompass a wide range of delicious styles and tastes as well as several seasonal ales, a cider and a wide range of real ale produce. We love the taste of their brews and are keen to show the runners the exciting flavours they have to offer.
Gritchie Brewing Co.
We’re always looking for new local suppliers to work with, and we’re happy to say that Gritchie Brewing Co. is one of our new partners for the 2022 race season.
Gritchie brews its beers using its homegrown barley and water, drawn from its aquifer on the Wiltshire/Dorset border. Their love of beer and pub culture inspired the team to blend old world traditions with new world ingredients.
The brewery is based at Ashgrove Farm in rural Wiltshire, where the team converted an old barn into a brewery using natural resources from the Estate to give people a taste of Britishness in the brews.
Vinny's Trophies & Engraving
In a bid to be more sustainable, we’ve sourced a local medal and engraving service on our doorstep helping to produce some of the most amazing wooden medals, prize plaques and quirky treats for our runners. Made by the amazing professional hand of Lee and sourced locally.
Another medal provider in Europe to help reduce our carbon footprint and reduce the freight time, but still get amazing bling for your efforts and something to show off to your friends.
Cranborne Chase Cider
We have been working with the Meaden Family for 5 years to bring their scrumptious Cider to our Runners. We are lucky enough to run around the farm it is pressed on for our Cider & Piggy weekend event and use their Cider as part of some race goodies.
Great British Biscotti
Made in a local factory, 10 miles away from HQ, we had t0 introduce another local producer of fabulous food to our runners.
They make yummy savoury and sweet flavours of biscotti that are perfect for dunking, with Vegan options too.
Lytchett Bay Soaps
Lytchett Bay Soaps is run by Liz Thompson, who started creating soaps after deciding that she needed to work on her health and wellbeing, and cut down on her environmental impact. After learning more about the amazing benefits of essential oils, she incorporated these into her creations.
All the soaps are made using a traditional cold process, using high-quality ingredients. The soaps are packaged in either recyclable, recycled or compostable ‘plastic’, made from starch. Many of the soaps are vegan.
The range has now expanded to include SLS free shampoo and conditioner bars, body butter and shower gels.
Flo and Frankie's
New for 2021 another local supplier has come on board to offer runners a yummy option for our race goodies.
Vegan and gluten free, their fudge is prepared the old fashioned way to an original recipe. Cooked in copper boiling pans and with no artificial preservatives added. It melts in your mouth.
