Following up on our amazing news that we were recently awarded a GOLD Award at the Dorset Tourism Awards for Run Jurassic 2019, we are really pleased to announce that we have now been named a FINALIST in the South West Tourism Awards (Tourism Awards – South West) 
Run Jurassic 2019 has been shortlisted in the Tourism Event/Festival of the Year category. The South West Tourism Awards brings together the best from the whole region, including all entrants from the Dorset, Cornwall, Devon and Bristol, and Bath and Somerset Awards. So, it’s fair to say we’re pretty chuffed to have made it to the regional finals! We find out whether we place Gold, Silver or Bronze later in April.
As the official Jurassic Coast Running Festival, we have to say a huge thank you to the Jurassic Coast Trust for choosing to partner with us to put on this amazing event. We also have to thank Freshwater Beach Holiday Park where the event village was based and many of you stayed overnight (despite the difficult weather conditions). And, of course, we need to say another big thank you to you, our runners, volunteers and community.
Without you our events wouldn’t be what they are.
